What's New at The UK Piezoelectric Club

Around 25 people braved the thunderstorm to attend the fifth meeting of the UK Piezoelectric Club held at the University of Manchester Incubator Company on the 11^th October, 2006.

The meeting was a joint meeting between the Piezoelectric Club and the EPSRC Piezo Device Modelling Network (run by University of Paisley).

The theme of the meeting was "Non-Linear Effects in Piezoelectric Devices" and highlighted the complexity of modelling and measuring the non-linearity in piezoelectric materials and devices.
