The UK Piezoelectric Club aims to bring together manufacturers, secondary processing specialists, end-user companies and academics in the field of electroceramic and other functional materials, to hold regular meetings and have specialist working groups to share and solve technical problems. It is hoped that it will also be a forum for discussion to commission and carry out collaborative research of mutual benefit.
The club aims to act as a focus for the piezoelectric community in the UK, to bring together materials suppliers with the businesses that depend on those materials and to promote the overall growth and strength of the UK piezoelectric materials industry.
The club is jointly administered by NPL and QinetiQ for the benefit of its members, its activities will accordingly reflect their requirements and interests.
